Mushroom Agribusiness Initiative With Over 5000 Women By ADF

we are committed to promoting sustainable agriculture and empowering rural communities. Our Mushroom Farming Program in India is designed to provide individuals and communities with the knowledge and resources to engage in profitable and eco-friendly mushroom cultivation. Mushroom farming is an excellent alternative livelihood option for farmers and rural entrepreneurs. It requires minimal space and can be done year-round, providing a consistent source of income. Moreover, mushrooms are highly nutritious, have a high market demand, and can be cultivated using agricultural waste or byproducts, making it an environmentally friendly farming practice.
  • Access to Resources and Inputs: Our program assists participants in accessing high-quality mushroom spawn, substrates, and necessary equipment. We also provide guidance on sourcing raw materials, ensuring that farmers have the necessary resources to establish and maintain their mushroom farms.
  • Market Linkages and Value Addition: To ensure the economic viability of mushroom farming, we facilitate market linkages for farmers. We establish connections with buyers, marketplaces, and food processing companies interested in sourcing fresh or processed mushrooms.
