Mushroom Farming Initiative With Over 5,000 Women By ADF
we are committed to promoting sustainable agriculture and empowering rural communities. Our Mushroom Farming Program in India is designed to provide individuals and communities with the knowledge and resources to engage in profitable and eco-friendly mushroom cultivation.
Mushroom farming is an excellent alternative livelihood option for farmers and rural entrepreneurs. It requires minimal space and can be done year-round, providing a consistent source of income. Moreover, mushrooms are highly nutritious, have a high market demand, and can be cultivated using agricultural waste or byproducts, making it an environmentally friendly farming practice.
Training and Skill Development: We provide workshops, hands-on training sessions, and educational materials that cover various aspects of mushroom cultivation, including substrate preparation, spawn production, sterilization, inoculation, and harvesting techniques. Through these training programs, we equip individuals with the knowledge and expertise needed to successfully start and manage their mushroom farms.
